The Events IndustryForum and EIF Ltd, which publishes the Purple Guide, are inviting proposals for an independent organisation or individual to undertake a comprehensive governance review of both organisations to ensure they are appropriately structured for the future.

Those undertaking this work must be reputable and be able to demonstrate experience in undertaking similar projects.

New research examining the economic value, employment and key issues for the UK outdoor events industry has been published s which clearly establishes that the outdoor sector is the single largest component of the UK's £61.6 billion events industry – bigger than conferences, exhibitions and business events combined.
